The darkening effect happened while I was adjusting levels in Photoshop and my fingers slipped. I like it a lot. It looks magical.

We woke up this morning to 32 degree temps and 3 inches of snow, but by afternoon, blue sky was peeking through and when I left work at 5pm the sun was out in all it's glory.

Today was going to be a rant about how unfair it is to have weather like this (cold and snowing) on my birthday. But when I went outside this morning, everything was covered in sparkles. What more could a girl want for her birthday?? It was a perfect day, from the moment I opened my eyes this morning. A big thank you to everyone who made that possible.

This is graupel. It's soft, small hail. It fell off and on throughout the day. I took this photo at lunch. Snow fell too during the day. In fact, it's snowing outside right now.

If we don't hit 60 by Friday (which they have predicted we won't), we will break a record for the latest date to see 60 degrees.

I am so sick of it.
