Amen 55:365
If you ask me, it looks like Loki's praying.
She was sleeping on top of the laptop, but I wasn't quick enough to capture that.

Flowers in Winter 53:365
A photograph of an oil painting, converted to watercolor in Photoshop Elements. A welcome bit of color in one of the paintings currently hanging in the gallery at Hayden City Hall.

Angel Eyes 49:365
But any time you like
You can catch a sight of angel eyes all emptiness and infinite.
And I dream of Michelangelo when I'm lying in my bed
I see God upon the ceiling I see angels overhead
And he seems so close as he reaches out his hand
But we are never quite as close as we are led to understand.

Tubbs Hill Panorama 48:365
My favorite shot of the day - a two shot landscape panorama, hand-held. I'd already taken a nine shot portrait panorama of the whole lake on my tripod. It turned out nice, but the light wasn't great. I had put my camera away and was breaking down my tripod when Scott said "Oh, wow. Look at the resort. It's all lit up." So I pulled my camera back out & shot two, quick shots of the resort and Tubbs Hill with all that gorgeous light.
Alaskan Watercolor 47:365
This hangs on the wall in my living room. Just one of the many things that make me want to see Alaska for myself.
Play Doh 46:365
The girls spent the night with Grandma & Grandpa. One of the things we did was play with play doh - such fun!
I wish you could see the histogram on this photo. It's as pretty as the picture.

Overlook Panorama 41:365
Panorama from the overlook just south of Rose Lake on Highway 3. My first attempt at a panorama with my DSLR and Photoshop Elements Photomerge. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty slick. My next trick - assuming we can get some decent weather here next weekend - will be HDR with Photomatix. Stay tuned...

Blue Bee Paratrooper 40:365
I ran to the lake and back this morning with Scott. I was lucky enough to spot this guy laying in the road. He is too cute!

Angry Sky 37:365
The skies have been awesome the last couple of days. I've just had a hard time getting somewhere to get a picture of them. This is from my back fence, with the neighbor's field cropped out. I've also been playing with (and loving) my new software: Lightroom 4. If I can get out this weekend and get some decent landscape shots, it will be wonderful.

See Hear Speak No Evil 36:365
It's been very dreary here, so this was shot indoors. I couldn't get the turtles sharp without the flash, but I don't like the shadow it cast. I'll try again tomorrow, maybe with a diffuser. Cute little guys, aren't they?
Welcome 35:365
This is hanging on the wall above my desk in my temporary home. Some days I feel more welcome than others.
Yawp & Howl 33:365
This was my reward for running the 1st Annual Yawp & Howl Winter 5K. Pretty sweet! And I managed a personal best, running it in 32:08. I owe that to Scott, who ran the whole race with me and made me run fast. Thanks, honey!

Western Sky 32:365
This was the scene in the western sky at 4:45 p.m. tonight. Absolutely beautiful, and not for the colors, but for the simple fact that I could still see the sun at 4:45 p.m.
