Sunday, we drove to Lacey, Washington to get the
rest of my daughter's things out of storage.
The temperature was 19 degrees and the wind was howling out of the north.
Any idea of stopping for future photo ops was gone.
This was the scene at the top of Snoqualmie Pass. Beautiful...
...and treacherous. Please ignore the massive cracks in the windshield.
The rest of the day was spent packing the truck and worrying about the return trip over Snoqualmie. Luckily, the snow had stopped and the roads were snow packed and sanded.
We're home again, safe and sound, and that's what matters.
