We had fun shopping today for the granddaughters and their parents.

We went shopping for my grandson's Christmas this morning, then stayed pretty close to home this afternoon.

Scott's bandage came off today. The incisions look awesome. Six tiny incisions with almost no swelling. He's pretty bruised though. His arm looks like we tie dyed it.

The eagles are back at Lake Coeur d'Alene ~ well, at least a few of them are. They are still really skittish. It didn't matter how quiet we were, they weren't letting us get very close. The photo isn't great, but the fact that the eagles are back is.

Nifty Fifty

Today I finally ordered a "nifty fifty" lens for my camera:  a 50mm f/1.8 lens.  I am really excited to get it and put it to use during the Thanksgiving weekend.  And, in honor of that purchase, (it took me months to decide), all the photos today were taken at 50mm.  Enjoy!

The hospital is actually a pretty cool place for photos. I took quite a few. I also played with my circular polarizing filter. I think I finally understand what it does & how it works. So the time spent waiting wasn't wasted at all.
