Project 48 ~ 35:48

1. Apple Festival
2. Delightful Scarecrow
3. Berries in the Sky
4. Bee Ninja
5. Three Billy Goats Gruff
6. Speckled Pumpkin

7. Green Bluff Geraniums
Today's photos are all from Green Bluff, Washington, an association of small family farms and fruit stands located just north of Spokane.  They have annual festivals like the Cherry Festival in July, the Peach Festival in August, and the Apple Festival in September.  The association was formed in 1902 and includes over 30 farms in twelve square miles.  I had a delightful day with some of the folks from the North Idaho Digital SLR Club.  In addition to the fruit, pumpkins, flowers and critters we saw, we also sampled some of the best apple cider I've ever tasted (thanks, Julie).  Thanks also go out to Nancy for serving as driver and tour guide.  I can't wait to go back!

  1. You are so welcome and it was a real treat to be able to show you some of my favorite places in Greenbluff. Wonderful array of shots, this is one of those posts where it's hard to pick a favorite but there is something about that apple shot that I particularly love!
