Sunset

The sunset was absolutely breathtaking Wednesday night.

This is not a photo of that sunset.

This is a photo after most of the color had left the sky.

This is a photo of the sky after my daughter & I came out of the video store, saw the gorgeous sunset, broke every speed limit between the video store and home, picked up my camera, and raced west a couple of miles, out where I have an unobstructed view of the horizon to the west. The sky was still very pretty when we left the house. As we drove west, we watched the color drain from the sky.

I need a Point-n-Shoot camera that I can carry with me at all times. Enough said.
